I CANNOT stop crying. What a poignant, beautiful, and tragic film. The next time I watch it, I’ll stop it right where Martha looks out the window at Karen with a sleepy sort of half-smile. Martha was watching the love of her life walking their path and wearing her jacket. In my mind, Martha quickly threw on some shoes and rushed after Karen.
