From the very second this movie started playing I knew this would hit me in all the best ways. Sing Sing encapsulates why I want to pursue criminal justice as a career. At the end of the day, every day, people in the criminal justice system are just people. They have passions, they have goals, they are talented and funny and compassionate and so much more. I hope everyone sees this film to remind themselves of this when we look at our punitive system of corrections and criminal justice. Love love love this film!!!

Opus 2025
I may be a little biased in my review as getting to hear the director talk about this film really made me appreciate it more. The pacing could’ve been better and the ending felt rushed and lacked a real climax. And yet, I had so much fun. I’ll be thinking about this one for a while. Also, I fear these songs ATE.
