I could sit through it and not leave the screen. Each scene is so beautifully created and shot. I could picture each individual still that I love from it. Taking it all in, trying to understand the meaning.

First the relationship with ladybird and her mother was so realistic. I loved how each moment with them felt almost too real to my relationship with my mom sometimes. The airport scene where ladybird goes off to college is heartbreaking, as the mom pulls away and starts busting into tears. Her mom loved her so much and used tough love mostly to help ladybird grow.
