Heretic 2024
I found this film very interesting… especially from the perspective of growing up around faith and no longer being religious. Mr. Reed, (spoiler) the trapper of the missionaries while completely sadistic in his approach brought up several interesting points about conversion in religion. While repetitively telling the women they have a choice in leaving at any point it was clear they didn’t really have any authority in the matter.
