I loved the feeling of proximity represented, from people you used to be close with, with that traumatic thing that happened, acquaintance who thinks your life must be great because of one good factor, strangers who help you through a panic attack. A big oof at the multiple times you hear the main character say she doesn’t see herself getting old. Beautiful, sad movie

Perfect Days 2023

Connections are fragile and “now is now.” I have never related more to a scene than the last one: listening to a favorite album loudly while driving on the verge of crying (my interpretation) because of how fragile, beautiful, tough, tragic and worth it it all is

The End 2024
I loved this (and wasn’t expecting to). Can completely see the connection with Oppenheimer’s documentary work in the interactions of the characters and overall plot arc. And the musical aspect works so well, thinking of it as this glossing over of truths and vulnerabilities.
