rewatched for the first time (or second time???) since it was released today on the plane. tiana has always been a top 3 princess for me and i was reminded of why today.
the movie was OG disney with some modern charm. i loved the art style and i forgot how funny charlotte is she made me smile everytime she was on screen. i also NEED to try a beignet soo bad. i really wish tiana had more screen time…

mikey madison deserved an oscar for her performance in once upon a time in hollywood alone so im glad she finally got recognition for her insaneeeee dedication to her characters. i really really liked this movie. my only critique is the music?? a lot of people say that the song during the wedding scene was “perfect” and although i agree the vibe of it did suit what was happening, it sounded like royalty free music for a youtube ad. i also think the whole hostage scene in the house could’ve been 5-10 minutes shorter. otherwise this movie was great and id definitely rewatch
