i don’t care what anybody has to say about this movie. it’s perfect. okay yeah armie hammer is a cannibal and plays a 24 year old in love with a minor. but. just two overly-complex guys in love!!! i appreciate the fact that it’s a queer movie that isn’t centered around coming out, or the negatives that come along with being gay in the 80’s. they definitely touch on the subjects, yes, but that’s not what the movie is about. it’s just a love story and they happen to be queer which makes it feel so natural. wonderful film adaptation after the book. All I got to say is I get the hype. The whole movie held my attention which is saying a lot already, but that last scene was actually outstanding, sensational, magnificent; truly a masterpiece.
