The Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker 2023
Left more questions than answers. There is clearly more to Kai’s mental health than the teeny tiny bit mentioned. His cousin is there as a witness to say Kai had a pretty shit childhood due his mum, and then they have his mum in the documentary trying so hard to play down the fact that she locked him in a room.

When a Stranger Calls 1979
Great performance from Carol Kane who bookends this movie, and the film turns from a horror more towards a thriller in between. Not bad, but not what I was expecting or hoping to get after such a good opening sequence.
