Honestly I was kind of concerned 20 minutes in that this was just gonna be 2 hours of soft porn, but I was (mostly) wrong! I think the story had lots to say on intimacy and vulnerability, albeit that sometimes it got lost in the shock value of the scenes

I’m surprised people aren’t talking as much about Jesse Eisenberg’s performance, there were a few scenes where i was really touched by his sincerity
All in all I liked the themes explored and the movie overall, but boy it was hard to watch for someone who doesn’t enjoy second hand embarrassment
