A shocking film in which every minute towards the end intensifies. This is the film where close up shots show so much emotion. Incredible job from the director!

Nope 2022
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The film was beutifully directed. The location was gorgeus and immersive. The sound design and visual effects supported the film nicely. I would have liked the film without its humancentric ending. I see quite a few people saying this is similar to Jaws. And thats true. We suck up these stories of great monsters in the universe lurking at us and how in the end us humans always are able to kill them. I think its dangerous storytelling, which we should be aware of in the era of war and biodiversity loss.

Cave of Forgotten Dreams 2010
The film had an immersive atmosphere which stays with you for a few days after viewing. Interesting insight: you have to study outside the caves to understand the paintings better. The story about Australian aborginal was a great eye opener for understanding the connection between the painters and spirits.
