entertaining and an interesting premise! very fun, often goofy but in an endearing way. i can definitely see why it’s a classic.

I knew going into the theater that it wouldn’t be great, but WOW I severely underestimated how bad this movie would be.
And I’m someone who, when the first movie came out, was obsessed. I blame this on my youth, and I dread a rewatch with adult eyes- but this movie, Christ on a bike! It feels like a high school English student wrote bad fanfic and they put it all on the screen.

was so excited to watch a movie about birding starring Jack Black - this was almost unwatchable. the writing, sadly even the acting (maybe because the writing was so bad?), the plot, the soundtrack, literally everything about this was bad other than ✨the birds✨ themselves, which didn’t actually show up that often because this is a movie and not a documentary.
