The Fall 2006
I watched this film for the first time at 14 on my tiny phone screen and thought it was the most beautiful film I'd ever seen. It's been a favourite of mine ever since. 8 years later I got to watch it at the BFI imax and what an experience, it was stunning to watch remastered and with cut scenes reinstated.
Was also incredibly lucky to be able to catch Tarsem afterwards and talk a little about the film, he's such a lovely guy and I hope he finds the funding to make passion projects like this again soon because what a talent.

The Banshees of Inisherin 2022
What makes a good life? What makes a life well lived? To Colm it's about leaving a legacy; he wants his music to be remembered for generations. Padraic just wants to be remembered fondly, as a kind person by those he loves. And so a rift is formed.
