I can confidently say this concludes the best adaption of Dune we will ever get. Denis is legendary at this point. Can't wait for his adaptation of Messiah

Dune 1984
The adaptation of something like Dune into just one film seems like an impossible task. Turns out after watching this, that that's probably true. The entire film feels very rushed, especially the parts covering the 2nd half of the book. This is made worse by how much exposition is told through voiceovers. There are some cool sequences here. Lawrence of Arabia 1962
This film truly captures the beauty of the desert. It is epic in scale, and length, coming in at just under four hours. It was an incredibly memorable experience. The first part of the film was stronger than the second part for me, but I believe the second part is necessary to tell the full story
