10/10 Cinematography. Great extended takes. The dancing scene was phenomenal. I cannot get enough of the feeling that French New Wave films have, it really is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Wishy-Washy story with mostly disconnected characters as any Godard film has. For me this only adds to the impersonal aesthetic, that feels like a small glimpse into another person’s life. Definitely felt like more of a matured and developed style than his previous first two pictures. Anna Karina provides another stunning performance as the lead. Overall Godard’s third film impresses just as much as any that I’ve seen before
