I mean, if Daft Punk basically built their entire image and identity around this film, it must be something special right?   I’ve never thought about watching this movie before I saw it on the flight, but the moment I saw it, I knew I had to watch it there and then. And I’m really glad I watched it, mainly for the opportunity to listen to Purple Rain (the album) again, every single song on this is outstanding, absolutely incredible, and definitely worth watching this movie for.

  The first of my mini movie marathon, Saturday Night was the perfect choice to kick things off. Relatively short, fast paced, enthralling, and just overall, a very fun movie. I’m very glad I watched this.
