  Mufasa: The Lion King 2024

  Thoroughly enjoyed this. But a few notes: 
  - Donald glover as adult Simba makes no sense, doesn’t have a lion voice at all
  - line at the end of the movie “I can’t call you by your name after what you did” Mufasa , “call me scar then” - scar was so corny
  - I always wanted a brotha song was fire but otherwise music was kinda a let down 
  - I feel like if this was some modern version…

  Moadiator… part 2 of the imagine cinemas $5 Tuesday double feature. Blue slushy fueled. Can’t believe moana came out in 2016. Although I may be a different person than I was back then, moana still slaps. Songs didn’t meet the iconic level of the first though.

  Almost an empire strikes back level sequel. Just needed Maximus to come back from the dead to have an I am your father twist moment. Then it would get 5 stars.
