  non chronological order was not necessary and made the film hard to follow. Also made it hard to grasp how long they had actually been in love for, making their connection less hard hitting. 
  Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh are insanely perfect actors and their performances were the only thing I liked about this film!!!

  Fantastic! Somehow didn’t get bored during this 3.5 hr film. An ode to the plight and struggle of Jewish immigrants/any immigrants really, and the failure of the American dream.
  Some parts felt confusing… the ending was a bit unclear and felt rushed I suppose. They only mentioned how his architectural style/brutalist related to his trauma at the end which was weird to me.
  Overall amazing - beautiful cinematography, score, and acting. I get the hype!

  really digs into women, beauty standards and how it literally kills us from the inside out.
  great performances. 
  genuinely so visually jarring do not go see this if you’re easily queasy. happy I saw it but never again.
