COLORFUL STAGE! The Movie: A Miku Who Can't Sing 2025
This was cute and fun seeing all these characters on the big screen. The songs were especially nice!

Undeniably by Kazuya Tsurumaki, with his distinct style and some nods to his past work! What a team from Studio Khara working on this, with alums from Evangelion, Gunbuster, and FLCL.
The mech battles were naturally reminiscent of those in the Rebuild of Evangelion films. Really liked the music, colors, and character designs by Pokémon character designer Take!
Such a promising start that left me wanting to watch more - can’t wait to see where this series goes!
Watched opening day on the biggest IMAX screen in Japan, Grand Cinema Sunshine in Tokyo.

Saw the midnight premiere at the elegant TOHO Cinemas Hibiya’s Premium Theater in Tokyo!
The movie was cute and light fun! It captured most of the spirit of the show. Some great Anya faces. Loid’s dulcet tones sounded great in a theater haha. And Yor’s sweetness and Anya’s adorable voice rang clear.
I do wish there was more of the funny slice-of-life and school life stuff. But I understand they were going for a big event story.
