Very fun, doesnt have a moment that bored me (Unlike the first two, which had some parts that DRAGGED). Love the breaking of the formula of "Indy Love Interest Partner" with Elsa, the father son stuff was a lot better than I thought it would be, and connected with me. Having not watched and of these films before, I did not expect an Indiana Jones movie to include an Adolf Hitler autograph scene and 700 year old immortal knight, and…

Haven't watched this since I was a small child (If I even watched it then, I have no memory of the movie), and I'm glad to say I enjoy it quite a bit. There's some very fun film making on display here, and a good romp. Few things I'm not too fond of: I know it's a novelization/behind the scenes thing, but being aware that Marion and Indies romp "10 years ago" was when she was anywhere from 17 to…

So many stupid fucking scenes. Grenade on a plane. Guy who knew how to dress and bandage an amputation tries to pull out massive metal shrapnel from a wound when outside of the reach of medical assistance. Helicopters not attracting hoards from sound but celebrating Muslims does. Brad Pitt international tour featuring thousands of sacrificed lives. This movie is a series of really interesting and ingenious scenes, interspersed across a shit ton of ridiculously stupid and nonsensical scenes, that don't even serve the purpose of furthering the themes or plots.

Listen. It makes no fucking sense oftentimes. Why is there a whole setup for Michael 2.0 as if they're going to try and continue the franchise, only for it to not? I actually liked the psycho thriller romance that was going on. I also kinda liked the Michael stuff. Together, it just feels kinda incoherent. Shot really well though. This sure is a movie.
