The feeling that this movie left me with is a what I want from horror. Certain scenes stayed with me for awhile and that's what I like so much about this movie. This film isn't about jump scares and cheap screams, it's thought out and story focused. I liked the uniqueness it brought to the genre. Some of it was predictable and the ending felt rushed, but overall, I very much enjoyed this movie.

It was fun, but I still don't understand why this was needed? Too many plots happening and some were straight up unnecessary. Also, did they need to keep plastering a pedo's face on screen all the time? Thought that was an odd choice and not very sensitive. Monkey Man 2024
Dev Patel's directorial debut is chef's kiss. And like always, so is his acting. This is the type of action film I've been missing and I'm so glad this was pushed to theaters. My only real gripe, too many close up shots and shaky cam, but still a very solid film.
