I haven't felt this excited to see what the future hold for a director since Edgar Wright. Coralie Fargeat is force to be reckoned with in this satirical informative movie about the struggles of older women in Hollywood and the longing for what was instead of enjoying what is. The cinematography is refreshing, Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley are fantastic and the body horror is unsettling. Fantastic movie, horror isn't for me.
is it better to live a life wary and cautious of other people's emotions, never tipping to keep yourself afloat or is showing your emotions to its full extent regardless of the chaos and/or joy it may bring a pleasant thing to do?
Domino is in a moment of transition figuring things out, Lola is the sweetest person and is also very articulate, David is the perfect little brother; tender and youthful and Andrew, the one tying them together, is just the warmest and sweetest character I've ever seen, treating everyone with kindness while he navigates through so much uncertainty. There's something bittersweet about watching someone try to figure life out in his twenties because mine is wasting away as I type. I love this movie
