Imagine: a clownish, absurd little tyrant with no loyalty or honor mocking the institutions that raised him up to power.
Jokes aside, this was quite an experience. I'm grateful I witnessed this spectacle in 35mm at the Angelika - it deserves a big screen to take in the sheer scale and detail of the sets and background actions. Every scene is rich with story.
