Among the various perspectives on the happenings of WW2, this does not get talked about enough. The level of innovation that took place in creating Christopher altered the course of the war, and also the world as we know it today. The way Alan Turing went against the grain and persisted through the doubt was a lesson we can all admire and apply to our lives. It’s unfortunate how his story ended, but he should always be remembered for the countless lives he saved.

    The Nun II

    ★½

The rating is lower due to the predictability of horror movies like The Nun, Conjuring, etc; evil never wins. Still, it was entertaining in the way it connected characters’ development from the first Nun. Side plots also kept the movie interesting, but as stated the ending is already known from the jump.

Caesars rise from a boy to a man is a key theme to appreciate in this movie. It took letting go of what was comfortable to find his true calling, and now he’s king of the apes. As for the disease situation, it calls on having good attention to detail in the scenes throughout the movie that hint at it being a possibility/hazard. The ending leaves you on a cliffhanger excited for what is to come.
