It’s a slick, good looking film. Well directed. Not terribly surprising.
It is closer to what I wanted Promising Young Woman to be.
I know a lot of people compare it to Don’t Worry Darling and I get that. But they feel different. Don’t Worry Darling felt more personal. Blink Twice felt bigger. Societal.
This is my first watch after reading the book. Still a fantastic movie. The production designer deserved all the awards.
So I've heard of dark comedies but this was a, so dark you can't see your hand in front of your face, dark comedy. Geez! I didn't hate it but it is not one I plan to watch again soon.
