Bring Them Down 2024
The most intense sheep based film since Lamb. The opening third is full of wonderful tension. Elements of the story's subsequent expansion and execution felt off at times, but I enjoyed the transition and ultimate blending of character perspectives.

Civil War 2024
Visually well executed, excellently performed. Civil War is a collection of ideas about a central idea, playing with varying success with each other. At its best and worst it is non committal to exactly what has happened and why. We fill in the blanks but there are a bit too many blanks to fill for the film to be excellent. It is somewhat torn between being a war movie, and a movie about people dealing with war.
