  Not offensively bad, just inconsistent. Also generally aggressively mediocre. So many strange decisions, makes you wonder how it even got made and into theaters. So many amateur mistakes.

  Solid slow burn of a film that takes the premise seriously and takes time to explore the “inner workings” of being an assassin. Beautiful cinematography, great direction, fantastic restraint and use of dialogue, brooding soundtrack, superb acting, and interesting set pieces and locations. The only downfall to this film is a distinct lack of character growth or development. There is some implied or some that can be gleaned, but that would require work on the part of the viewer to write for the filmmaker instead of providing a compelling even if obscure character arc.

  First of all, time travel is one of, if not the most, stupid plot device. Setting that aside, the film was over two and a half hours long and felt it. Pretty mediocre characters, relentless chase scenes that were obviously filmed on a sound stage, and lacked the adventure and charm of the first three. Crystal Skull at least felt like a genuine Indiana adventure. This film had no substance or character development to speak of ultimately being a 100+ million dollar blunder of an empty shell. Did I mention how long it was.
