My gawd, where does one even start. Amazing film. So distressing to watch, wanting to grab these kids through the screen and hug them, help them. It’s so well done that one would think this was a documentary rather than actors portraying fictional characters. Sure it’s based on terrible atrocities that happen to so many every day in this often dark & cruel world, and this film brings that all home, , straight to your heart. Beautiful and truly heartbreaking.
I watched this film because of Frank Dillaine. He IS a good actor, maybe even a great actor, at least in everything I have watched with him in the cast. I can't believe how off the summary on this site is when describing this film. It's not just about a bored housewife, but rather a sexual/child abuse survivor that clearly never had the opportunity or privilege to work through her trauma until later in life.
