Tarkovsky is kind to let the shots linger, allowing me time to understand what happened before the next baffling scene. But he failed to neglect that I can’t comprehend anything.

No nearly worth 4.6 stars. Doesn’t have the level of thought, care or innovation needed to obtain that. The reason it’s so loved is because you wouldn’t except to find this type of story from a Cartoon Network show and that surprise accounts for a lot of the stars seen.
It is good though. Creates a wonderful atmosphere and plays with its themes.
