Anatomy of a Murder 1959
An autopsia cadaverum that's totally disinterested in dramatic opening & closing arguments. Instead we only get the trial's body, full of the precedents & decorum that are so important to case law sitting right next to it's frailty & baseness. The Truman Show 1998
Very fun premise that I wish the movie had more confidence in. It really didn't need the lame interview scene in the middle that explained all the fun details & mysteries away in the most boring unnatural way possible. The Passion of Joan of Arc 1928
"I know nothing of Gods love or hatred of the English,
but I know all of the English will be driven out of France.
Except those who die here!"Sorry Billy Shakespeare but I am following Joan into battle not Henry.
