I hope Pi went to go see a dermatologist/oncologist after his chronic sun exposure… Enjoyable movie overall. I didn’t totally understand what meaningful thing it was trying to convey. Maybe I need to think a little harder…Also some really cool visual effects with the sea and the jellyfish and the sun reflecting off the water.

The first act was so good. I really enjoyed the storyline. The dialogue was incredible and thought provoking. I leave with questions about doubt and faith, examining our desires for power, leadership and character, maintaining neutrality/following rule or tradition vs exposing truth. Pacing in the second half was a little too fast for me. Wrapped up too quick and the plot twists, although interesting, felt unearned
