  am i missing something about this movie?? it bored the fuck out of me, every character was unlikeable (besides the dad i felt sorry for him), it wasnt pretty or cutesy enough to get away with being so boring. i probably wouldve enjoyed it more if i watched it as a teenager when i felt everything as intensely as oliver does but even at that i think this is massively overrated. two stars feels like a push tbh
