I loved it. I was scared about the run time but the pacing was divine. The fact that this isn't a biopic is unfathomable to me. It was really such an ambitious trip into so many ideas through characters and space. Gut wrenching and intense, a real flavour of reality. Withstand able or not, it felt like a breath of life. A real punch to the stomach. Going to be obsessed with architecture now for the next two weeks. Maybe more depending.

I really have to give it to this film!!!

Theres so many things about this that hit so hard. Its so god damn beautiful and dreamy, it feels like a painting and the hand held/pov style just makes it feel extremely intimate. The kind of screwy narrative. But boy oh boy, very interesting takes on love and illusions and the ephemerality of it all and it just had my head spun. And the symbolism! ate!!!!

Okay so was doing a bit of a double feature situation. Started with worst person in the world which is a regular rewatch which I really enjoy but always kind of feels self indulgent watching it or something and kind of hits slightly flat. But was interested to watch another one of this fellas movies. And this was a really really nice surprise.
Mind the movie is completely emotionally desolate and a hard watch. But I think the strength in this…
