Ridiculous, dumb, hilarious. Spent all time laughing. Seemed to me the band and the crew had fun making this. I love the fact Steve Vai is playing stunt guitar in this music, and Dave's over the top facial expressions in this scene are killer. I got slight notes of the Crossroads guitar solo. I think I might be the exact person this movie was made for, but maybe I'm just happy to be watching movies at the cinema again.

After the initial high I've reflected a bit and I have to tone down my critique. It's a good movie, pretty much the same way Blade Runner 2049 is. But it's not creating the same magic as the original film adaption did. It manages to feel rushed and ponderous at the same time.
