  Such a great story and this film portrays it with class. But somehow, even after 3.5 hours, the film felt a but sparse. The entire story is not told, and chunks of the time go into scenes that don't hold that much significance. Also, the Osage characters don't seem to get enough meaningful presence in terms of the internal conflict they must have been facing.

  But still, great movie.

  That was super fun and well knit. Loved the tie-ins of some character backstories and just other small details. It was cool how “slow” but still attention grabbing this was.

  The Dawn Of Man sequence was the greatest thing I’ve ever watched in my life. I can’t believe this is a 60’s movie.

  Not going to lie it was hard to get past the pace and openness of the film. I just thought it was too open and honestly just a little too bare at times. The visuals though…there’s no contest.

  I hate to have to read breakdowns of films bc so much goes over my head but that was the case here. I can’t hate too much on a great movie.
