I have a somewhat hot take on this film. A lot of people disliked this film at the time it came out. I think this is due to the fact that they weren't ready to see Robin Williams play such an evil character, and that there were people who went to see this film for Robin Williams, but weren't ready for a psychological horror.
Given the films short run time, it paints a pretty compelling picture of Sy's mental state…
