Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio 2022
I guess I’ve got a new contender for favorite movie! I had high expectstions and they were completely surpassed. I don’t want to givr anything away- go in with as little knowledge as possible. The movie will still be a masterpiece if you know what’s going to happen but part of what I loved about this film was seeing truly delightful and unexpected things onscreen. The way the characters move, the character design, the script, it all gushes with a rare sense of wonder that reminds me why I watch films in the first place. Watch this movie!
