It is more of a dramatised documentary than a film, and it isn't even that historically accurate. This film has nothing new to say and no framing device. The battle scenes are initially impressive but get tired as the film continues. The ending could have come immediately after Waterloo, but instead, it continues on and on until his death. The only good thing about this film is Vanessa Kirby.
A delightful film that does exactly what it sets out to do.
This wonderful kids' film tells the story of Wonka's first chocolate shop. It explains his love of chocolate and his connection to the Oompa Loompas; however, what is missing is an exploration of his first time making chocolate and trial and erroring new flavour combinations. The Wonka we meet in this film already knows how to make excellent chocolate, but he needs a shop to sell it.

Eileen is a beautiful exploration of sexuality, femininity, falling in love, and female rage. The plot is crafted to keep you guessing what happens next without anything feeling out of place. Beautiful chemistry between Thomasin Mckenzie and Anne Hathaway is encapsulated in a constantly shifting power dynamic. The few moments where the audience is allowed into Eileen's mind are visual poetry.
