  Maslow’s hierarchy of needs now includes “dressing like a late 90’s tokyo detective”

  Loved the desaturated color palette of the film and (unsurprisingly) the costume design as well as loooong scenes with minimal cuts - combined with the antagonist’s M.O. and rhythmic influences it truly felt like the audience was in as much danger as the victims onscreen.

  Unsettling and I loved how it did it. Similar feeling of hopelessness as Memories of Murder and The Wailing.
