  I was very disappointed with this film. I normally enjoy disaster movies and I can't fault the special effects. It isn't all bad. The storyline had potential but it felt like the big names who were in the film had just turned up for the paycheck. I can see why the film has bad reviews from the critics. Memorable for about 10 minutes after viewing then easily forgotten. If you like disaster movies it's merely ok

  I missed this one in 1977, however one of the reasons it was a box office flop was it was out at the same time ad Star Wars. It's not a horror or some sort of magic fantasy as the title would suggest, it's a thriller about 4 men hiding out in South America from either the law or the mob who take a job driving some boxes full of nitro glycerin across the jungle.
