  One of my favorite movies of all time. Shot beautifully, acted superbly. Funny, honest, weird. My favorite scenes include how the family supports Olive. Especially in the ice cream scene where they all eat it to make her have some and when they all dance together ofc. Each character feels whole and like they all have flaws and positive traits. Things that make them unlikable and things that make them hard not to love. It feels real, and it's just so beautiful.

  For mainstream media it was nice to see something that felt so real and complicated full of emotion and tears. Anger and frustration and confusion. Overall weird and was engaged the whole time. Would I have liked it more if it was lesbian, yes. But it was decent as is.

  Underrated sad boi sad girl sad family film. Many incredible one liners, x2 Culkin brothers and teenage angst. What more could yah want? Well more of Kieran Culkin always that is. Always happy to rewatch this one.
