Very much of an indie movie. The story goes back and forth with Jeff and Tim as Jeff awaits to perform for his father’s tribute concert. Penn Badgley as Jeff Buckley was okay, he’s a great actor but he doesn’t sound like Jeff Buckley nor does he necessarily look like him either. The only really good moments is when he sings since his register is close to Jeff’s. Ben Rosenfield as Tim Buckley was definitely a lot better, kinda wished they’d do a movie on him solely.

Not too bad of a film. But of a light hearted one. It’s kinda like one of those films your high school French teacher would show in class. Weird how Sandra Julien isn’t properly credited in the cast when she plays a good chunk of a role in this film.

Definitely one of my favorite early 1970s French films. Max Pecas did something right with eroticism in this one. Through the warm tones of pinks, yellows, and tans over bodies to bring out sensuality is quite immersive. Sandra Julien also makes a better performance in this film than in her previous film (Le Frisson Des Vampires). I know she definitely wanted to push the idea of not only having sex appeal but being recognized as an actress in this film.…

This flick’s got a lot of heat in it. The lead actress, Susie Mitchell, was pretty good looking. Shame she never did any other films other than this one. The movie being split up into chapters was a strange choice. Those title cards should’ve been replaced with extra scenes to make the whole thing flow better. It’s rumored that Jamie Gillis is in this but I can’t really confirm or deny his appearance since the copy I saw had low quality. Overall, it’s a pretty fun, and I suppose you can say, a bit “underground” film from the Golden Age.
