28 Weeks Later 2007
In a way i kinda like the direction they were going with this follow up but it kinda just lost me in the second half and I struggled to stay engaged. The military just seemed a bit unnecessary ruthless.
Hopefully 28 years later manages to capture more of what made 28 days later so good.

It has a couple flaws but its still getting a 5* for being so sick.
Being filmed on a shit early 2000s digi-cam from currys makes this movie better. Atmospherically it does a lot and the city-scape shots all look stunning regardless. I loved the use of ambient music that starts from inaudible and very slowly gets louder as Cillian is walking through those empty London streets at the start. Basically the atmosphere is spot on the whole film and the way it plays out at the end is a nice switch-up and overall a lot of fun.
This movie is basically Rambo of the dead.
