Unicorn Store 2017
I absolutely get why this film is a miss for some people, but for me the student-film aspects of it are what make it so utterly charming and delightful. Kit is a deeply relatable character for many, and Larson’s writing strikes a twee-colored chord for those struggling to find their place in a brave new world (who would rather go home and nap, all things considered.) This movie encourages a cozy sort of fearlessness, and for that is all the more endearing.
