The Gorge 2025
Odd to see two fairly well respected actors taking part in what I would best describe as an hours-long edgy video game cutscene indulgence.
Two stars for the plot setup in the first third which was teasingly promising something more mysterious than “biological experiment gone wrong” complete with the expected tape left behind by the scientist (didn’t we just go through that with Watchers?) & bad cgi.

My friend used to date this guy so I watched it to be nosy but to my surprise it was actually quite touching at times.
I think seeing true passion in others can make us uncomfortable, and though it might seem odd to some to see a person fully and uncompromisingly commit to his project, his family, proving a point, whatever it is, in their own way - I challenge them to question why exactly those feelings are coming up.…
