Saw this in the theater for the first time! It was amazing! I really noticed and appreciated all the close up shots of peoples' faces to, seemingly, convey a sense of intimacy, vulnerability, and honesty. These scenes really contrasted with the ones where someone had something to hide or wasn't being entirely upfront---the biggest example would be when Buffalo Bill half-hid his face behind the door while speaking to Clarice and also kept her at a distance when they entered…
