this is one of the few 2010s romcoms that had a decent soundtrack i feel like i should just mention, usually my ears are assaulted any time i try to watch one but this even had a mamas and papas needle drop so, slay. also marrying a sassy man you knew for like 3 days and fought with the entire time is SUCH a bad idea but it's matthew goode with an irish accent and charming comebacks so it's ok. and amy adams is suchh a natural bright presence onscreen, their contradicting energies played off of each other well.
