I Saw the TV Glow 2024
I don't think I've sever seen a film that perfectly captures such a fleeting feeling before. The shots in this are nothing short of breathtaking, the costume and physical performance creates this perfectly real and untouchable feeling throughout the film. Although the message of gender identy is potent throughout, its easy to identify yourself with the message even if its something you don't experience, the feeling of change, the shows you once loved shifting through your youth, and when you re visit them searching for that feeling the magic is gone. This film broke my heart and made me feel so raw and seen.
