  Many many laugh out loud moments, some breathtaking and wonderfully campy performances especially from our queer trio of Williams, Lane and Azaria.
  Still… the son in this is actually like a huge bastard. I worry that time has chipped away some of the integrity that this critically acclaimed comedy probably held at the time of its release, I mean it greatly improved acceptance of drag culture and gay men in particular and I understand it stands as an important artifact…

  I think at this point it's pretty clear that Felix likes Terry Gilliam and trippy acid fantasy art. I also think I finally get a sort of theme from his work, seems to be about cycles of predatory behavior between sentient and none sentient things, whether it's the moon devouring the sun in literal terms or even a snake that attaches itself to a frogs back to eat up little hatchlings, all the way up to Double King's obsessed murder…
