The Substance 2024
Demi Moore kills in this. Somehow both incredibly visually pleasant and unpleasant. Love when sci-fi is successful in holding up the magnifying glass/mirror, reminds me of some of the best black mirror.
Def not for the queasy, super unsettling and violent at times. Crazy how with all of the body and food horror one of the most upsetting scenes is Demi in that mirror before her date. I imagine this is something I’ll come back to years and years from now and have a more strong relation to.
