A pretty good horror movie that is bumped up significantly because of hunter schafer. not only does she do a great job as the main character (all the actors are superb) but because she’s a trans women in a horror movie largely about reproduction and women hood she fills a hole i’ve been yearning for. while the character isn’t textually trans (though i have my theories) hunter schafer is still a trans woman and being able to see someone be a trans woman, survive horrific experiences and get to make out with other women has healed me.
